Sticker Con MNL, the biggest and liveliest gathering of sticker fans, gets a Halloween treatment because the well-loved convention returns this October 19, from 11 am to 8 pm, at Top Shelf, Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City.
The quirky sticker party-slash-market, aka StickOrTreat, promises a spooktacular day to celebrate these adhesive wonders. Though smaller in scale, StickOrTreat's venue makes the pop-up intimate and all the more sentimental.
Everyone's here: Manillennials who grew up with sticker books, the kids who pursued the interest and created their stickers, and the elders of those kids who are in it for the nostalgia. Everyone can shop from local artists and participate in wickedly fun games, contests, and giveaways.
We can't imagine Manila's pop culture scene, rich with its undaunted fan culture, without Sticker Con MNL. Thanks to Grace Marcellana, the chief fangirl behind the ingenous event, we have the opportunity to stroll down memory lane and relive the experience of collecting stickers that express ourselves.
Take note that this Halloween-themed shindig is the first of Sticker Con MNL's many pop-up events to come. Will there be a Christmas sequel? A "New Year, New Sticker Stash" edition perhaps? They have us on the edge of our seats, and we're not complaining.
We bet you're excited (heck, we are too!). As always, tickets are available onsite (no advance ticket selling) for only 100php each. Prevent common conventions mishaps caused by lack of preparation; don't forget the essentials!
