Mandaluyong is the city where you can find lots of commercial and notable institutions, not to mention large shopping malls. When it comes to having fun, Mandaluyong wouldn’t be your first option. If we would compare Mandaluyong to a person, they would seem to be the all work, no play type, but given the chance, they know how to give you a good time.

We often neglect how Mandaluyong also has a side away from all the highly urbanized life. Just within its busy street corners, you can find something worth your time other than your usual stores in malls. We’re here to help you uncover them.
Pioneer Studios, 123 Pioneer Street

You will not notice this little nook at first sight if you pass by Pioneer Street. You’ll be surprised that there’s a place like in Mandaluyong. It is near Pioneer Studios, a studio that provides museum quality photography services. This independent bookstore houses hundreds of Philippine art books. Its owners Katya Guerrero and Ringo Bunoan invite people who would want to know about Philippine art. Instead of spending your afternoon at home or at crowded places, pay a visit to and enrich your knowledge about Philippine art like never before.
