This Interactive Exhibit Features Multi-Hyphenate Filipinas

The Philippine Wacoal Corporation, known for its premium elegant lace bras from Japan has been making Filipina women feel beautiful for 30 years now. This time, more than giving women the boost they need, Wacoal sets out to be a platform for women and their stories. The "Wacoal Women of the World" exhibit happening from June 26 to June 30 at the 3rd floor of SM Makati.
"Wacoal Women of the World" is a five-day interactive exhibit featuring 30 notable Filipina women and their inspiring stories; women who have succeeded in social entrepreneurship, women who broke gender stereotypes, and women who opened a platform for a change in others, too. The brand hopes this not only inspirejust women but everyone to achieve more than what their own selves or the society expect.
There would also be life-size key monuments from Japan, Paris, and the USA to take pictures to, glitter tattooing, tarot reading, and creating your own power frame—all for free.
Wacoal held an Anniversary and Thanksgiving dinner Last June 4, at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. The event introduced awarded the 30 notable women who will be featured in their exhibit. Part of the awardees is the President of an alternative energy company, PhilCarbon, and co-founder of aglobal community of tech-powered women, Connected Women Ruth Yu; Woven Handicrafts co-founder, Trish Lim; and one of the well-known Sports Journalist in the country, Dyan Castillejo.
With more events and exhibits like this that seek to put well-deserving women in the spotlight, it’s only a matter of time when women not only dominate in different career fields but excel at them too.
