We know FurryPinas, the largest furry convention in the country, is dedicated to making safe spaces for furries—people who are huge fans of animal characters with human traits. This event aims to be inclusive and inform people about the furry community and their passion. But apart from focusing on the fandom itself, FurryPinas also has a soft spot for charity.
This year, FurryPinas partnered with Hands of God Charity Works (HGCW), a non-government organization aiming to empower human rights by giving children basic education and caring for the differently-abled among others. FurryPinas provided HGCW kids the opportunity to take part in the convention.
FurryPinas director Brian Nicole Uy believes every child deserves happiness and joy, and they want the children of HGCW to enjoy, have fun, and maybe even fulfill their dreams of meeting their favorite cartoon characters.
A 200-peso donation will give HGCW children entrance to FurryPinas 2019, FurryPinas gift trinkets, and HGCW gift pack.
If you’d like to take part in the sponsorship program, you can head to thislink. FurryPinas accepts payments through 7-Eleven, M Lhuillier, BDO Bank Transfer/Deposit, and Coins PH. Your help is much appreciated.
See you on June 8-9 for the annual FurryPinas Convention at Bayanihan Center!
