After bagging the title of the Pambansang Muziklaban Champion in 2017, alternative rock band Woopis is now set for greater heights as they release their first album called Hangober. The band’s launch is not going to be just a one-time event, but a three-legged tour around Manila!

The Palaweño band, composed of vocalist Soy Lanzanas, guitarist Jacob Carlos, bassist Jiboy Betita, and drummer Toting Penaflor, will kick off their album launch at the Cabin 420 Bar & Bistro, Makati Avenue, Makati this June 18.

Woopis, known for their song “Puerto Princesa, Iba Ka Talaga,” will be showcasing the rest of their music alongside other performances from CHNDTR, Awi Columna, High Hello, Happy Three Friends, Written by the Stars, Pikaso and the Riots, Don Lang, and Gatecrash with Nadia.

Following their kick-off, the band will also hold album tours at Matchbox Yard, Commonwealth Ext., Sta. Monica, Fairview, Quezon City on May 25 and Station 22 ½, Cubao, Times Square Ave., Quezon City on June 1. Other details are yet to be announced.

Prepare yourselves to indulge in a night filled with OPM goodness with Woopis. Hangober is one album launch you really should watch out for!
