Since 2015, the Performing Arts and Recreation Center (PARC) Foundation has been helping artists thrive in their field and provide an avenue to hone their skills. As they continue to create safe spaces and encourage artists to live their passion, PARC finds ways to further promote performing arts. This year, the non-profit organization partners with the Global Cultural Alliance to present the A Walk in the PARC: The PARC Foundation Open House. For the first time, PARC will open its humble home in San Juan City for a fiesta of dance, music, and theater.
PARC invited over 500 guests—including art practitioners, cultural institutions, and art hub managers, and creative entrepreneurs from the Philippines and Singapore. Each guest will experience the organization’s creative spaces while building relationships which may pave the way for artistic collaborations. As the event promotes the Filipino culture, it also aims to strengthen ties with Singapore through their partnership with Global Cultural Alliance.
Witness performances from Marc Nair, PARCaralan Scholars, TRS Kid Lighting Crew, Philippine Ballet Theatre, Move Manila, Lucinda Sky, Isprikitik Musical Improv, Monologista Inc., Puppet Theater Manila, Teatro Tomasino, Clutch Inc., MPOwer Band, and a Mini Concert featuring Manila Philharmonic Orchestra and other special guests.
Join PARC as they celebrate this milestone on May 18, Saturday, from 1:30 - 9:00 p.m. at The PARC Foundation, 494 Lt. Artiaga, San Juan City.
