(Inside Manila) Sexy performer-turned-political blogger Margaux “Mocha” Uson has immediately became target of critics after she got appointed as Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary last May 2017 with compensation that falls under Salary Grade 29 or atleast P106,454 per month. In the course of her post as comm administrator, she has received series of ire pushbacks both from lawmakers and netizens because of controversial polls and alleged propagation of “fake news” on her social media accounts.

But in case you’re wondering, Mocha remains our PCOO Asec only this time, she seems dormant. So after more than a year in her position, let’s look back and see what she has accomplished.

Asec. Mocha’s job order includes covering the president’s events and reporting it through social media and taking charge in disseminating government agencies' updates, pronouncements, and policies through Duterte Diaries Special (DDS) podcast. She is also tasked to manage Overseas Filipino Workers' complaints and to provide social media managing strategies for PCOO.

Here's what she has achieved:

According to the report, Mocha has accompanied President Rodrigo Duterte on his visits to Russia and Cambodia for World Economic Forum; covered the President’s Brunei visit and Sen. Allan Peter Cayetano’s presence in 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly; partnered with RTVM for weekly DDS podcasts; and scheduled visits to different government agencies. It can also be recalled that in the same year, her self-initiated ad interim policy on social media accreditation for Malacanang press briefings has drawn flaks on social media.

Meanwhile, Commission on Audit’s latest Report on Salaries and Allowances of appointed government execs stated that Mocha made P1.163 million in 2017 alone despite diminutive accomplishments.

Now that Mocha seems to have only done a little, some netizens are asking: Is she an assistant secretary or an escort? Some even claimed that she is not worthy of her huge salary. Here are some of their sentiments:

While Mocha is still facing criticisms for her lack of achievements, she still has some more years to do what she failed to do. Are you willing to still give her the benefit of the doubt? Or are you now in for the #FireMocha movement? Share it with us!
