(Inside Manila) As a daughter who wants to protect the legacy of her parents, TV personality Kris Aquino was more than enraged when Asec. Mocha Uson posted a video that trampled over the legacy of her parents, former presidents Ninoy Aquino and Cory Aquino.

The video was related to President Rodrigo Duterte's recent act in South Korea, wherein he kissed a Filipino in front of a crowd. Mocha then showed a clip of former president Ninoy being kissed by two women in an airplane before he was assassinated. The video also contained clips of Cory's funeral nine years ago.

This prompted Kris to take to social media her reaction about the video and about Mocha.

"Yung ginawa mo, ang mga sinaktan mo mahal na mahal ko and ganito na lang. Derechahan na, babae sa babae. Gusto mo ng kaaway? Ako. I'm ready. Anytime, anywhere, harapan," she said in a simultaneous Facebook and Instagram live videos.

She suggested to do debates or even recreate the catfight scene in "Four Sisters and a Wedding", where Angel Locsin got to pull Mocha's hair out, only this time, Kris is willing to be Mocha and the latter will play Angel to settle the matter.

"People are telling me why are you stooping down to her level? I'm doing this because I love my mom. I love my dad. And if I don't do this now, I will hate myself. And if I don't do this now, I won't be the mother I want to be," she added.

Challenge for Mocha

Kris challenged Mocha to face her personally, any time and any place. The host and actress even suggested that she should bring all her followers, but as for her, she could stand alone.

She poured her heart out defending her parents, especially that they couldn't stand for themselves.

"The truth is yes my father is a hero. Yes my father died for this country. Pero pinaslang ang tatay ko at yung dalawang babaeng ‘yun nahalikan siya bago siya bumaba at bago siya na-assassinate. Hindi mo alam yung sakit na pinramdam mo dun sa post na yun kasi naisip ko, sana nabigay yung karapatan na yun sa mom ko. My mom deserved that because my mom gave her entire life to my dad," an emotional Kris said.

Fair warning

The 47-year-old personality said that this would be the last time Mocha will disrespect her parents. Otherwise, she and Mocha will settle the issue once and for all.

"Tama na. Girl ako na lang. Kayang kaya ko. Anytime anywhere, say what you want about me. Say the harshest words you want I can take it but spare my parents. Hindi nila deserve ang kabastusan mo dahil binigay nila ang buhay nila para sa mga Pilipino,” she said.

"Kung gusto mo ng kalaban, kung gusto ng punching bag, kung gusto mo ng taong sasampal-sampalin,kung gusto mo ng taong sasabunutan, nandito ako. I'm ready. I'm ready for you. I don't know if you're ready for me," she added.

Towards the end of the video, Kris thanked those who still love her mom and respect the legacy of her dad. As she said, she is giving her sentiments as a daughter, not a celebrity.
