Stock up on stickers, prints, and zines at Local Loca’s first pop-up fair of 2018

(Inside Manila) Even when the weather forecast expects a high of around 35°C this weekend that it makes shopping a bit of a quandary, the slated one-cannot-simply-miss events are good enough reason to beat the heat. There’s the Free Comic Book Day at Fully Booked branches and the Manila Sundance Bazaar at SM Megamall; then there’s more.

Meet the local and homegrown artists and independent brands of today’s scene as art collective Local Loca presents “Kwentong Barbero,” happening on May 5, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Cubao X.

This will be their first pop-up fair of 2018 as the last one, “Bagsakan” pop-up fair, was held in December 2017. Get your cute and witty stickers, zines, prints, patches, caps, and totes supply from returning artists Bad Student, Fine Time Studios, Hulyen, and KWAN, as well as first-time exhibitors who will define “Kwentong Barbero.”
