The search is on for the next Mr. World Philippines!

(Inside Manila) For the first time, the Miss World Philippines organization will hold a competition for the next Mr. World Philippines candidate and they are on the lookout for stunning young men.


Previously, the organization only appointed candidates who will compete in the competition. The past representatives were John Spainhour, Sam Ajdani, and Andrew Wolff.


An interested hopeful should be a single Filipino male, 18-30 years old, at least 5'10 in height, and with the charm and personality of a true Filipino and excels in sports and fitness.





Applicants can download the application form at www.missworldphilippines.org and submit it along with a photocopy of passport, and headshot and swimwear photos. Requirements can be submitted at Suite 507 The Taipan Place Ortigas Ave Jr., Pasig City or email at secretariat@missworldphilippines.org. Deadline of submission will be on May 4.


For those who are eyeing for the Mr. World Philippines, age eligibility is 18-26 years old. The winner will compete in September for the international pageant.


For Mr. Eco Philippines, another title which will be given during the coronation night, age of eligibility is 20-30 years old.


First and second runners-up will receive P80,000 and P50,000 respectively. Mr. Eco Philippines will win P150,000 and Mr. World Philippines will win P250,000 plus a P1 million talent management contract.


Coronation night will be on June 17.
