(Inside Manila) Given the notion that English is the Philippines’ second language, it is also a known fact that not all Filipinos are proficient in speaking and writing the lingo.

Recently, a girl named Jenny from Urdaneta City, Pangasinan who was featured in an American documentary series last year made a buzz online after a clip from one of the show’s episodes went viral.

The clip shows a scenario when Larry visited Jenny’s family in the Philippines. Jenny chided Larry after the latter resisted to eat “lechon” that the prior’s family prepared for his visit.

Jenny told Larry: “You’re rude!” However, with her accent, many censorious netizens noticed that it sounds like, “Your road!”

The clip quickly went viral, followed by lots of memes and mixed reactions from netizens.

The memes, on the other hand, did not sit well with other netizens.

Before we laugh at memes that were on rounds now online, let us have a deep appreciation on this netizen's point of view on the idea.

Jenny and her fiancé Larry, who is from Florida, USA was featured in TLC’s “90 day Fiance,” a series that follows couples as they try to overcome cultural barriers. The couple who got the K-1 visa, have 90 days to decide to marry before their visas expire.
