(Inside Manila) Love Marie Ongpauco-Escudero, more popularly known by her screen name Heart Evangelista, is currently enjoying her break from showbiz. Apart from revealing her dedication in having her own child with husband Sen. Chiz Escudero, she also got her hands full on several projects, including her first exhibit this year, entitled Love Marie: In Full Bloom.

If the maturity and aggressiveness of her subjects were any indication, we are seeing a transformation in Love Marie’s art. “Maybe it’s because I think I have found myself and I am now [surer] about the path that I am taking as an artist,” she said during the exhibit launch. Housing her exhibit is ArtistSpace, an art gallery managed by the Ayala Museum that showcases exhibits of local and international contemporary visual artists every two weeks.

Love Marie’s passion for art seems to have an effect on Chiz as he is also now studying to paint. Both of them are mentored by critically-acclaimed painter Ivan Roxas. The actress-visual artist has chosen the Cerebral Palsy Association of Sorsogon, Balikatang Thalassemia, and Corridor of Hope as the beneficiaries of her exhibit.

Catch Love Marie: In Full Bloom until April 12, 7 p.m., at the ArtistSpace of Ayala Museum. Best part? Free admission!
