'I'm Drunk, I Love You' director to head McLisse’s upcoming film

(Inside Manila) About two years since their stint in “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7”, McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson are set to topbill their first ever feature film as a loveteam.


The two are set to grace the big screen through the upcoming movie "Today Never Happened Before".

This will be directed by JP Habac, the same filmmaker who helmed the Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino-starrer "I'm Drunk I Love You".


On Instagram, Habac hinted that "Today Never Happened Before" is already making progress and had possibly started filming.

Apart from "I'm Drunk, I Love You", which created quite a rave when it was shown in Valentine's Day 2017, Habac had also directed and written short films like "Oktopus" and "Maria". The latter won Best Short Film during the Cinema One Originals Film Festival in 2016.


Meanwhile, McCoy and Elisse are currently part of "The Good Son" cast, which will have its finale this week.
