(Inside Manila) Grandmothers, some but not all, used to be on the look out for their mischievous grandsons and granddaughters when it is time to eat and take a bath.

However, this “lola” from Cotabato City is different from others. Instead of staying in the house, happily cooking food for her “apos,” she chased and will continue chasing for school deadlines to finish schooling.

“Education has no age limit.” This has been proven by “Lola Milet,” who bared that age should not be a hindrance to pursue your dreams.

At age 66, Amina Akmad or “Lola Milet” went up stage with a smile and received her Grade 10 completion certificate during the moving up day of Cotabato City National High School Main Campus.

In a Facebook post, netizen Rahima Tambag shared some photos and videos of Lola Milet in her uniform up on stage, carrying her certificate.

The post garnered more than 39,000 reactions with over 30,000 shares as of writing.

The comment section was poured with praises and enthused spirits, who got inspired by “Lola Milet.”

Congratulations!
