Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo recognized as favorite foreign actor, actress in Vietnam

(Inside Manila) The country's "Teen King" and "Teen Queen" once again proved their acting prowess as they both won awards abroad.

Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, popularly known as Kathniel, bagged the Favorite Foreign TV Actor and Actress recognition in Vietnam's recently held 2017 Blue Star Awards.

This was announced by Star Creatives via Twitter on January 12, Thursday.

The two were recognized for their roles as Yna Macaspac and Angelo Buenavista in the 2015 re-make of the ABS-CBN teleserye "Pangako Sa 'Yo".

Among the other Filipino nominees were Meg Imperial and JC de Vera for "Moon of Desire" and Andrea Torres and Mikael Daez for "Sana ay Ikaw na nga".

Kathryn and Daniel previously bagged the Best Foreign Actor and Actress award in Vietnam's Face of the Year 2016 for their roles in the 2013 TV series "Got to Believe".
