Consumers of the water concessionaire Manila Water have been experiencing service interruptions since March 8. Mainly affected are households areas across the East Zone of Metro Manila—Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Makati, Marikina, Makati, Pasig and Rizal province—due to “operational adjustments.”
In an advisory, the Manila Water released a revised service disturbance scheme with more definite time starting on March 14. It said customers may experience from six to 21 hours of no water daily and this inconvenience may last for three months or until the rainy season comes in.
