McCoy de Leon, Elisse Joson to star in first solo movie

(Inside Manila) McLisse fans, this is something you should not miss.


More than a year after they have been first paired during their stint in "Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7", Kapamilya actors McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson are finally set for a major project.


McCoy and Elisse, popularly known as McLisse, is set to topbill their first solo movie together, Quantum Films producer Joji Alonso announced on Twitter last December 7.



"With #AllOfYou completed and #AngDalawangMrsReyes nearing completion, we begin shoot of our new film with #McLisse this January to be directed by [JP Habac]. Excited to begin this new journey," she wrote.


JP Habac previously helmed the romantic independent film "I'm Drunk, I Love You" starring Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino.


Meanwhile, McCoy and Elisse will take part in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 entry "Ang Panday" topbilled by Coco Martin.


They are also part of the ABS-CBN drama series "The Good Son".
