Local artists to stage FREE concert celebrating human rights

(Inside Manila) Talking about partying with a cause?

Catch your favorite local bands and OPM artists as they come together to hold Alab ng Puso concert on the eve of International Human Rights Day.

Slated on December 9 at the Time Square Food Park in Araneta Center, Cubao, the show features Sandwich, Tanya Markova, IV of Spades, Noel Cabangon, Bras Pas Pas Pas Pas, Gary Granada, Aia De Leon, Flying Ipis, Cooky Chua, BLKD, Bayang Barrios and Naliyagan Band, Oh! Flamingo and Ourselves the Elves.

Alfonso Manalastas and Juan Miguel Severo will also perform spoken word poetry pieces for the crowd.

Alab ng Puso is organized by DAKILA – Philippine Collective for Modern Heroism, a non-government organization of “artists, students and individuals committed to advocating social consciousness formation among both their industry peers and their immediate audiences,” and Active Vista, a human rights education platform utilizing films “to empower audiences in bringing about relevant social change.”
