(Inside Manila) As expected by pretty much everybody, “Stranger Things” is off to a “bitchin” development as Netflix announced it is serving another spooky story from the town of Hawkins.

A tweet from the streaming service confirmed the renewal of the TV series for its third season, most likely involving creatures from a parallel universe, psychic hi-jinks and copious references to Dungeons & Dragons.

Netflix is clearly keen to continue with the hit show, after the first season received rave reviews and 18 Emmy nominations, of which it won five. Its first two seasons currently hold a 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The announcement somehow was expected, after series creators the Duffer brothers, in an interview with Vulture, said that they were working on concepts for a third and fourth season.
