(Inside Manila) “Oops! You’re running out of data…”

This is one of the most irritating problems of smartphone users when it comes to mobile data usage.

Worry no more and save up to 30% of mobile data with Google’s new android app, which allows Android users to have better monitoring of their data usage.

Google’s new app called Datally lets users track their usage in real time and minimize the amount of data they are consuming.

Through its Data Saver Bubble feature, Datally restricts data access for certain apps and offers users the ability to control the Internet access of each app.

It also allows individuals to decide on an app-by-app basis how much data they should use. Moreover, the app can point users in nearby Wi-Fi hotspots.

The new app was created as part of Google’s Next Billion Users initiative (NBU).
