Fill your weekend with music, arts, and some volunteer works. Here are the weekend happenings you can visit in the Metro:

Sweet Disposition: The First Solo Exhibit of Mykie Conception
When: March 8, 6 pm
Where: ArtistSpace, Ayala Museum, Makati City

ArtistSpace presents Sweet Disposition, visual artist Mykie Concepcion’s first solo exhibition capturing the innocence of youth. The exhibition aims to remind us to find the wonderment in the simple, seemingly ordinary things.

Mykie Concepcion uses a variety of mediums, primarily oil paint, watercolor paint, graphite pencil, and charcoal. Her works are mainly realistic, with hints of colorful impressionism taken from her love for Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, and Vincent van Gogh. She also enjoys graphical elements that are achieved in her rubber cut prints.

Wanderland Music & Arts Festival 2019: Wanderland Magic
When: March 9 and 10
Where: Filinvest City Events Grounds, Alabang, Muntinlupa City

Brace yourself for this year’s Wanderland Music & Arts Festival! For its 7th year, Karpos Multimedia ante up their game with a first-ever two-day fest featuring Two Door Cinema Club, Honne, Gabriel Aplin along with local artists Reese Lansangan, Clara Benin, Autotelic, and more with live painting from artists Vena Martinez, Raco Ruiz, Frances Dandan, and Joshua Panaligan.

Tugtugang Babae: A Women's Month Special
When: March 9, 8 pm
Where: Conspiracy Garden Cafe, Quezon City

Independent Production company Final Round Promotions celebrates women’s month with an intimate all-female set gig featuring empowered women like Rice Lucido, Coeli, ROUGE, Sabu, Nikki Nava, Lui Gonzales, and Mei Tarce.

Diyablo: A Talk on the Notions of the Devil in the Philippines
When: March 9, 1 pm
Where: Warehouse 8-A, La Fuerzaza Plaza, Makati City

Spirits of the Philippine Archipelago author, Jean Karl Gaverza and Theology Professor Javier Gomez will dissect the depictions of the devil across Philippine legend. This talk is an introduction to how Philippine legend sees the Devil. Tickets are 700php inclusive of one drink and zines on the cliff notes of the talk.

Diyalogo Sticker Party

Film Screenings at Cinema Centenario
