(Inside Manila) Get ready to try a new hobby as this powerful yoga-based training system is coming to the Philippines next year!

Certified Boxing Yoga coach in Los Angeles, California Heather Boyle will arrive in the country in 2018 together with boxing promoter-manager Rey “Cacoi” Rodis II of RED Boxing International.

However, there is no certain date, yet, as the gyms to be visited are still being worked out with local boxing organizations here.

Among Boyle’s new students are Filipino boxers Rey “Technician” Perez and Recky “The Terror” Dulay, who are currently training at the Santa Cruz Gym in L. A.

Boyle said that “Boxing Yoga systematically strengthens and stretches the entire body and offers fighters a considered approach to explore coordination, body awareness and correct posture alignment.”

He added that it also “cultivates relaxation and muscular tension release,” as it lets fighters explore coordination, body awareness, and correct posture alignment, which “prevent injuries and optimize a healthy body and mindset.”
