HBO set to stream all Harry Potter movies by January 2018!

American television network and premium cable channel HBO (Home Box Office) is set to release all eight movies in the "Harry Potter" film series as well as the hit prequel “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” beginning on January 1, 2018.


For the first time ever, all nine films set in the wizarding world created by bestselling author J.K Rowling will air on a single network, unedited and commercial free!


"Harry Potter franchise furthers our objective to bring quality entertainment to our subscribers across all of our platforms," says an HBO executive in a press release.


The series will kick-off on Monday, January 1 2018 starting 9:00am ET/PT (1:00am Philippine time) on HBO and will end on January 2 with the final film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".



The eight-film adaptation has earned $7.7 billion (P394 billion) box office sales, while the book series was sold over 400 million copies and has been translated into 68 languages.


Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.
