(Inside Manila) Pinoy hoop sensation Kobe Paras introduced himself to his new school in a thunderous manner, putting on a dunking show during the California State University, Northridge's (CSUN) "Matador Madness" event at the Matadome recently.

Paras sent the crowd into euphoria with a series of highlight reels, punctuated by a tribute to NBA star and dunking demon Vince Carter.

The 20-year-old Paras jumped over his two teammates before finishing an "elbow dunk" reminiscent of Carter's fabled slam in the 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

The Matador Madness event marked the official start of CSUN's 2016-17 basketball season.

Paras, however, will not see action for the Matadors this year as he is to serve his residency following his transfer from Creighton University.

The 6’6 Paras will be back home in Los Angeles after a year with the Bluejays. He played for the LA Cathedral High School and Middlebrooks Academy before going into college.
