One reason streetwear continues to thrive despite other springing fashion trends is its versatility allowing enthusiasts to freely express their cultural uniqueness, personality, and interests through their clothes. The dynamic nature of this fashion movement, with the help of social media and passionate streetwear aficionados, set its trajectory in an upward direction.
With each brand uniquely designing streetwear pieces in limited quantities, the demand in the market has forged goods to continue selling despite great competitions—much like what this streetwear brand does.
Drone Clothing Co., a Valenzuela City-based clothing brand, pioneers a street style brand giving basic forms of clothing such as T-shirts and sweatshirts a fundamental overhaul. Since 2011, they are crafting limited-edition shirts designed to emphasize authenticity while championing a community of fearless individuals. According to brand owner Mycco Arenas, their limited-edition collections became an underlying cause of their progress.
This 2019, Drone is back with their latest collection: “Drone Szn 1”. True to its brand tagline, their latest offering motivates their patrons to “create their own destiny”.
From the design to silk-screen printing, their 10 new tees' highlighting patterns and encouraging statements to own the world were all carefully-crafted. One shirt quotes their main theme: “The World Is Yours”.
Other pieces feature statements like “Act like a King” and “Fortune Favors the Brave”; detailed prints of the brand’s logos dominate the rest of the lookbook. This debut release teases patrons on what to expect from them this year: radical designs combined with streetwise statements.
They also released their Drone tote bag and socks. “Drone Szn 1” is out now, February 22. Visit their complete lookbook on Facebook.
Drone Clothing Co. is at 1012 G.M Tolentino St. Sampaloc Manila (near UST), 43 Malingap St. Teacher's Village Quezon City (inside Sagul Foodpark), and is open 12 pm to 9 pm daily. For orders and latest updates, visit Drone Clothing on Facebook and Instagram, and join their Official Facebook group.
