Fans of the breakout Love & Misadventures book has been waiting for this day since its announcement in January—that day is almost here. Lang Leav, an internationally exhibiting artist and an author of cult classics, is coming back to the Philippines on February 23 and 24 for her book tour around Manila.
Her latest book, Love Looks Pretty on You, takes the spotlight in this book tour. Its excerpt reads: "A breathtakingly beautiful collection of contemporary poetry and prose, offering powerful insights into love, heartbreak, relationships, and self-empowerment."
The book signing will take place at the Event Center (Mega A) of SM Megamall on February 23, and at the Activity Center of Alabang Town Center on February 24. Registration starts at 10 am, on a first-come, first serve basis (1,000 slots only!). Only copies purchased from National Book Store, NBS Express, and Powerbooks branches with proof of purchase are eligible for the signing. In case you don't have copies yet, a special paperback edition is available at the event for 755php.
Lang Leav won her a cult following across the globe for her powerful insights into love, heartbreak, relationships, and self-empowerment. In 2014, Lullabies, her sequel to Love & Misadventures, won the 2014 Goodreads Choice award for poetry. "Leav has an unnerving ability to see inside the hearts and minds of her readers," Goodreads said. She currently lives in New Zealand with her partner and fellow author Michael Faudet.
