AFP accounts receive over P200 million for Marawi victims

(Inside Manila) The total donations for Marawi, deposited to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), have reached more than P200 million, AFP said on Thursday, October 12.

On June 19, AFP opened two special accounts at Landbank of the Philippines for the family of fallen troops and for the evacuees affected by the ongoing clash.

The AFP, earlier, said that donors may deposit the donation in the following Landbank accounts:

Account Name: AFP Marawi Casualty with Account Number 000 0055 2107 128 (for the families of killed soldiers);

Account Name: Marawi IDP with Account Number 000 0055 2107 136 (for Internally Displaced Persons).

Donors are requested to call or text Lieutenant Commander Rose Abud at +63 928.264.3337 to inform AFP of the details of any deposits made for transparency.
