(Inside Manila) From the white sand beaches of Boracay Island to the snow of Bayern, Germany real quick!

Buddy, an “aspin” or “Asong Pinoy” (local street dog) from Boracay is now walking on the lands of Europe after migrating from the Philippines to Germany almost two years ago.

German tourist and dive instructor Emmy Karnot went through a seven-month process of adoption to fly home with Buddy in November 2015 after having a vacation on the famous beach in Aklan.

Karnot posted last January 2016 on Facebook how she met the “aspin” in Boracay and stayed for a few months longer just to finish the ”complicated and expensive” adoption process.

After almost two years, Karnot and Buddy are now living happily together, while having their #travelgoals around Germany and central Europe.
