The Titos of Manila are Back: 'Dirty Old Musical' set for Third Run

After two successful shows in 2016 and 2017, the Dirty Old Musical (D.O.M.) returns to the stage to tackle the joys and pains of "growing old" once more. Based on the preceding shows, the musical was successful and entertaining enough to garner acclaim from the younger generation.
Spotlight Artist Centre's Dirty Old Musical is coming back this February and March 2019 at the Music Museum. It stars Robert Seña, Bo Cerrudo, Nonie Buencamino, Carlo Orosa, and Jett Pangan. A powerhouse supporting cast consisting of Kitkat, Tricia Amper-Jimenez, Ima Castro, Neo Rivera, Katherine Tiuseco, Anthony Castillo, Matel Patayon, and Carlon Matobato also joins the ensemble.
Dirty Old Musical, tells the story of a one-hit-wonder boy band in the 80s that reunited years later for fundraising for one of their ill member. It tackles the wacky misadventures of tito-hood and gives a glimpse of the personal struggles of five men dealing with mid-age crisis and all its telltale signs.
Did we mention that D.O.M.’s soundtrack is composed up of well-loved and timeless OPM classics? Fall in love once more with songs like "Kastilyong Buhangin," "Mag-exercise Tayo Tuwing Umaga," "Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika," Nosi Balasi," and a whole lot more.
Spotlight Artist head Isay Alvarez-Sena guarantees that audience can relate to the real-life comic sketches, whether they be the so-called millennials or titos and titas.
Dirty Old Musical will be shown on Fridays and Saturdays from February 22 to March 23, 8 pm, with matinees on March 15 and 22, 3 pm.
