(Inside Manila) The long wait is over. Sanrio fans, welcome to your Hello Kitty-filled heaven.

The Philippines' first Hello Kitty Cafe had finally opened last July 21 and it is more than ready to offer its vibrant ambiance and delectable treats.

The cafe can be lauded for its aesthetic interior. This Hello Kitty haven is filled with bright pastel-colored walls, colorful chairs, and golden caged seats.

And get this, Hello Kitty can be found just about anywhere in the cafe: on the walls, on tables, and even on table napkins and water glasses.

But if you think this cafe is only about appearance and design, you couldn't be more wrong.

The country's first Hello Kitty Cafe serves an array of French cuisine. All dishes served are both a feast for the eyes and taste buds. They offer a variety of soup, salads, pasta, and main courses.

The cutest part? Every dish has Hello Kitty’s trace on it!

Shrimp Bisque

Chicken Gibraltar

If you get too overwhelmed to choose, you may want to try Inside Manila’s favorites: Pork with Herbs de Provence and Smoked Salmon and Crème.

Or you can go for nice cold drinks to refresh your feeling on a hot afternoon.

And of course, what’s a café without their special sweet treats? These “Instagrammable” desserts will give you a hard time deciding if you would want to eat or just stare at them.

Some may expect that Hello Kitty Café is always filled with students or children. On the contrary, parents and even grandparents often visit the place and they introduce this iconic cartoon character of their time to their kids.

Somehow, it brings a nostalgic feeling and becomes a perfect place for parents to bond with their children.

But even if you are not a mom, dad, or a kid, you will surely enjoy your experience in this little piece of Hello Kitty paradise.

What are you waiting for? Visit Philippines’ first ever Sanrio-approved Hello Kitty Café at the 3rd floor of Uptown Mall Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
