When it comes to good food and Christmas you better be sure that Pinoy family reunions are the best place to find one. Crazy and overwhelming as reunions may be, everyone isautomatically united when good food is served.
Timely enough the Guevarra's, a home-like space turned restaurant, by celebrity chef Chef Rolando Laudico better known as Chef Lau, offers a holiday feast close to home.
Around thirty Christmas dishes are added to the restaurant's roster of 80 Filipino favorite dishes. Guests can indulge everything with the restaurant's eat-all-you-can offer for 599php on weekdays and 699php per person on weekends and holidays.
The line-up includes Orange Chicken Galantina (chicken stuffed with seasoned pork meat in orange sauce), Pata Hamonado (pineapple-cured fresh pork ham), Roasted Turkey with Castañas and Chorizo, Menudo Pastel Pie (Menudo meat pie in pastry crust) and Baked Macaroni Kaldereta (baked mac with beef kaldereta).
They also revamped some time-old dishes with an added twist. Take the Puto Bumbong, a classic sticky rice dish is shaped to balls and fried while Lechon meat is also added to the tasty Adobong Paella.
Guevarra’s is a feast not only for our stomachs but for our eyes to wander too because the restaurant's facade is filled with Christmas-themed decorations to take selfies and groupies with your loved ones.
