Jollibee? It’s every Pinoy's go-to for quick eats, family bondings, barkada lunch-outs, and more—clear as day. Nobody could have expected Jollibee to be the go-to for minutes of laughing, crying, and falling in love, too. Enter: Jollibee Studios.
Jollibee has been around for 40 years and is constantly expanding in and out of the country, spreading joy all around the globe. But now, it does so easily by launching its newest entertainment channel.
To say Jollibee Studios keeps us entertained is an understatement. In this fast-paced world, they remind us of what "joy" really means. And they do so beautifully through a series of videos.
You've probably seen the Kwentong Jollibee videos on your social media feeds more than once; it has been shared by millions. Racking up impressive figures of views and stirring up conversations, it is decidedly the brand's digital hit.
But in case you've been scrolling past it, probably in an attempt to hide your vulnerability, the fact that these videos are inspired by true-life stories may persuade you to binge. Celebrate the joy of love.
14/29: Petsa de Peligro JolliSerye
Whoever thought of the Petsa de Peligro as a setting for marketing Jollibee's JolliSavers deserves a pat on the back. Filled with young working adults, 14/29 follows a quirky office barkada in their quest to survive being #broke before payday.
14/29 is all about the "masarap pero hindi mahal," especially every 14th and 29th of the month. What's more, each episode features guests the likes of Jolina Magdangal, Cherie Gil, and James Reid.
Seeing the brand's most lovable mascot in the same room with us is one thing; seeing it dance is another. Jollibee's dancing skills are a crowd-favorite, and making a series out of it is a million-dollar idea.
So far, we've seen the jolly red bee shuffle with teacher Georcelle of G-Force, Mr. Pure of Energy Gary Valenciano, UPeepz, and, of course, the rest of the gang: Yum, Twirlie, Hetty, and Popo. We kid you not, you'll find yourself smiling throughout the videos. Your face muscles will thank you.
One True Pair
The latest series to burst forth from the Jollibee Studios stable is Chickenjoy Perfect Pair's One True Pair, a romance-serye with episodes under the direction of acclaimed hitmakers JP Habac (I'm Drunk, I Love You) and Antoinette Jadaone (Never Not Love You).
One True Pair consists of two episodes that revolve around love and perfect pairs. During the launch of Jollibee Studios on November 21, Arline Adeva, Jollibee AVP for Brand, PR, Communications and Digital, revealed that the first episode will serve the most relatable kilig on November 22.
As well, 14/29's fourth and final episode of Season 2 that comes in time for the band's company Christmas Party will air on November 29.
Relatable, heartwarming, lit production quality—we're running out of words to describe Jollibee's slew of digital content. Will you help us and head over to their channel? Let us know what you think!
