A prolific figure in the comic book industry, Stan Lee forever changed the world of Pop Culture. He has written, created, and produced stories one too many a resume cannot fit. But the things he has done from his early life until November 12, 2018, the day that he died, is a story on its own.

Amateur Marvel fans may recognize him as the guy with constant cameos among the many films of the studio, but not many know that he's one of the pioneers of the so-called Marvel Revolution. He worked alongside comic book legend Jack Kirby in creating complex and humanized characters, including The Avengers, X-Men, Black Panther, and Marvel's most successful character, Spider-Man.

His unsullied skill and good-natured personality weren't exclusive in print. He has served in the United States Army as a Signal Corps member and later as a playwright in the Training Film Division. In 2010, he has established Stan Lee Foundation to support the improvement of access to literacy and the promotion of diversity, culture, and the arts.

By integrating personal social commentary about real problems such as racism and bigotry and his career in the comic book industry, he has challenged the medium's guidelines in terms of social consciousness. And victorious, he was.

For fans of his work, his passing feels like a loss of a grandfather. For the actors and friends he has worked closely with, it's even more. In their mourning and tribute, we recount.
