With the COVID-19 situation and community quarantine, citizens are doing the best they can to be productive while staying at home. People have time to spare in looking up recipes on the internet and actually trying to get them done. One of the viral recipes is Dalgona Coffee—a South Korean coffee treat that’s composed of milk and whisked coffee on top.

We’re sure that you’ve come across online friends who posted their own take on Dalgona Coffee. But apart from this recipe, there are other coffee recipes you would want to try. We’re here to help you make them.

Instant Latte

For the instant latte, you only need powdered milk, instant coffee, sugar, and water. For the mil foam, you just need to pour hot water onto the powdered milk. Turn it into foam using a jar with a lid and shake it constantly for about a minute. Pour the milk into a separate container and save some of its foam for garnish.

In a separate container, mix sugar, coffee and hot water. Pour the coffee mixture onto the milk and top it with reserved milk foam and cocoa powder.

Coffee Frappe

Craving that coffee frappe from your favorite cafe? What better way to satisfy yourself than to make one at home! You just need instant coffee, cold milk, sweeteners, and ice. Put one tbsp instant coffee with ¼ cup hot water into a blender and mix it until frothy. Put it in a tall glass with crushed ice and pour one cup cold milk. Your frappe is ready.

Irish Coffee

If you want your coffee recipe with a little kick, Irish Coffee is the best one for you. For two cups of this whiskey-infused drink, you’ll need 300 ml water, 3 tsp instant coffee, 2 tbsp, whiskey, 2 tsp brown sugar, and whipping cream. Just put one part whiskey and sugar in each cup and stir until sugar dissolves. Heat the water and when it boils, stir in coffee. Pour into cups and add lightly whipped cream on top.

Nutella Blended Coffee Drink

Tired of using Nutella as a spread? Well you can mix it in your coffee drink, too! All you need is four tbsp of Nutella, one cup milk, ½ tsp vanilla extract, 1 ½ tsp instant coffee, one tbsp sugar, and cup crushed ice. Mix them all together in a blender. Add whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and cocoa powder as garnish.

Coffee with Milk and Cookies

You can get creative with the ice you put in your coffee. Instead of regular ice cubes, you can crush Oreos and mix it with milk. Put them in an ice tray and freeze. You can then add these milk and cookies ice cubes to your regular black coffee. You can also opt to freeze your coffee and add them to milk.

Ice Cream Coffee Float

Making this coffee recipe sure is easy and it can be one of your dessert ideas.. Just take your cold coffee out of the refrigerator and add in a scoop (or two) of your favorite vanilla ice cream. The more scoops you add, the creamier your float will be.
