Easy Three-Ingredient (or Less) Recipes You Can Try at Home

In times of quarantine or calamity, we need to be creative when it comes to resources. With the limited grocery supplies and operational supermarkets, we have to find ways to tweak our resources, especially when it comes to our meals. Easy-to-follow recipes with few ingredients can make our tummy happy, possibly satisfy our cravings.
These recipes only need three ingredients to make a delicious dish.
BBQ Chicken Tenders
Ingredients: 1 chicken breast, 1 cup BBQ sauce, 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Slice the chicken into thin pieces before dipping it into the BBQ sauce. Coat the BBQ sauce-covered chicken with bread crumbs. Place them into a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake it into an oven preheated to 375°F for 15 minutes. Brush the pieces with BBQ sauce and bake for another 10 minutes. And voila, you have an appetizer or you can even make it your main course.
Mac And Cheese
Ingredients: 455 grams elbow macaroni, 2 cups shredded cheddar, 5 cups milk
In a large bowl, bring the milk to a boil before adding in the elbow macaroni. Cook the macaroni for about 10 minutes and then add the cheddar cheese. Make sure the pasta is coated evenly with cheese before serving. Perfect for merienda for the family!
Ingredients: 1 medium banana, 2 eggs (five-six pieces of three-inch pancakes)
Yes, no need for flour or pancake mix. All you need to do is mash the bananas in a bowl and combine it with eggs and you’ll have your batter. You can add flavoring like cinnamon or vanilla into the batter. Cook it in a preheated pan for one minute before flipping it over. Top it with chocolate chips, maple syrup, honey, jam, or other topping you would prefer.
Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients: 8 slices of bread, 8 slices of cheddar, 4 tbsp unsalted butter (four sandwiches)
Simply butter one side of each bread slice and then evenly place the cheese on the other side. Cook the buttered side in a preheated pan (yup, you don’t need an actual grill for this recipe) until golden brown then do the same for the other side. You can use cheese of choice and adjust the amount of cheese slices (or shreds) according to liking.
Avocado Chicken Salad
Ingredients: 2 cups shredded chicken, 1 large avocado, cored & chopped, 1/4 cup cilantro
There are only two instructions: mix all the ingredients and mash them together. You can put in a dash of salt and pepper to taste. And there you have it. This is best done when you have leftover chicken from last night’s dinner.
Apple Juice Chicken
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cup 100% unfiltered apple juice, 6 medium chicken thighs (skinless)
This recipe is literally what it says--Apple Juice Chicken. You just have to simply put the apple juice in a pan and bring it to a low boil. Once it boils, add in the chicken and sprinkle it with salt and pepper. Cover the pan for 15 minutes and then flip the chicken over, cooking the other side for 15 minutes. Continue to cook until the juice is thick and syrupy, making sure that you flip the chicken every 10 minutes.
Ingredients: 1 package frozen broccoli florets (you can also use fresh), 3 tbsp butter (melted), ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese)
Place the broccoli over 1 inch boiling water and cook it until tender but still firm. Drain and transfer to a microwave-safe container before pouring the melted butter over the broccoli. Season it with salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle the cheese on top. Microwave it until the cheese is melted.
