With the tragedies and heartbreaks we faced last month, we hope February is kinder. For some of our local artists, the love month is a new beginning for new releases and soon-to-be-hits. Yes, OPM continues to thrive no matter the circumstances.
Here are the best and latest tracks under our radar last month:
Go Crazy by Alex Bruce
Find me at the top. You know we could go way up
Alex Bruce is the country’s very own hip hop prodigy. After her hit “Pull it Off,” here she comes with Go Crazy, a song that talks about the journey to stardom. We won’t be surprised if she would have a concert and have all the people go crazy for her performances.
Sa Piling Mo by Space-Ta
In the event that we develop feelings for one of our friends, we tend to keep those feelings so as to not ruin the friendship. But Space-Ta’s newest single will make you realize there will come a moment where you want to jump and just confess.
Araw at Buwan by Denice Lao
We’re pretty sure you’re not new to unrequited love. If you’re experiencing this kind of phenomena, you would be able to relate to Denice’s “Araw at Gabi.” Check out this independent musician’s second release after “Just Got Home.”
Umaasa by LNTM
Moving on is hard, especially if you’re not ready to let that person go. It would take time for a person to move forward from the world they created with another. For your senti needs, LNTM will serenade you with their latest hit “Umaasa.”
Imaginary Love by Bea Lorenzo
You are so near yet you are far. You are so quick to win my heart
Our resident Kalimba artist is proud of “Imaginary Love” as this is her first time recording on her own. She created a song that best describes what’s going on in our heads once we find someone we like.
Sardinas by Pinkmen
Kahit nakatigil sa kalsada, kasama kita wala akong talo
“Sardinas” is Pinkmen’s latest single under OffShore Music. It talks about a love story that came to be because two people got stuck in traffic. How’s that for looking at the brighter side of things?
Parisukat na Bilog by 46 Hope St.
It’s new year, new single for 46 Hope St. with “Parisukat na Bilog.” With this song, 46 Hops St. encourages us to embrace our differences. We are all shaped differently and society shouldn’t tell us what path we should take or where we should go.
After releasing “Masyado Pang Maaga,” Ben&Ben brings us another heartbreaking song. See how the promises turns to nothing with their newest release “Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay.”
