Horror movie nights are always fun with friends or family, especially when there are subtle screams of fright. But with today’s added convenience of being able to legally stream films at any time, a movie marathon no longer needs the company of others for it to happen. And if you’re looking for an extra thrill, we offer you a list of local horror films you can stream and appreciate at home.

Kuwaresma (2019)

Matti’s film, Kuwaresma, tells the story of a family seemingly haunted by a demon in their home. The film will have you puzzling with quesitons: Why did a daughter die? Why is this father is so stern? Why does a mother remain tight-lipped despite the unfortunate events? 

Eerie (2019)

An all-girls Catholic school is rattled when a student commits suicide. This prompts the guidance counselor, Pat Consolacion (Bea Alonzo), to investigate the incident herself. Little did she know, she would uncover the school’s horrifying secret it’s been keeping for years.
